At Vynca, we provide Paid Time Off (PTO) to eligible employees to help manage vacation, personal needs, and family or personal illness. Our goal is to offer flexibility while maintaining continuity of care and business operations. In addition to PTO, Vynca offers other time-off benefits such as sick time off, bereavement leave, jury duty leave, family and medical leave (FMLA), and other applicable leave in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

For traditional vacation, personal purposes this leave offers the flexibility to take necessary time off to address personal well-being, attend to family matters, or manage health-related concerns without the worry of lost pay. We encourage staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance by using their Vacation time to recharge and enjoy personal time.*
Click HereVynca provides eligible employees with 48 hours of front-loaded Sick Time annually to support personal or family health needs, including illness, injury, medical appointments, and the care of eligible family members. Employees are expected to use any remaining Flex PTO before using the new Sick Time-Off. Sick Time must be requested and approved through Rippling, and existing Flex PTO may still be used for sick or personal needs as the Flex program phases out.*

It can be used to support personal or family health needs, including illness, injury, medical appointments, and the care of eligible family members. Click HereIf an employee wishes to take time off due to the death of a closely related person, the employee should notify his or her supervisor. Up to three days of paid bereavement leave will be provided to regular full-time employees. Approval of bereavement leave will occur in the absence of unusual operating requirements. Unpaid bereavement leave extensions may be given at the discretion of the Company management.*

Full-time employees will be paid for time served and must request time off through the Rippling app. Notify your manager promptly if summoned. The company prohibits discrimination or retaliation for jury service and guarantees reinstatement to your previous role with no loss of seniority.*

To apply for FMLA/ADA, simply use the Tilt app within Rippling. FMLA can be used for your own personal illness or to care for a close family member. The app will guide you through the process, making it easy to submit your request for Family and Medical Leave. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to HR for support throughout the application process.*
Personal Leave of Absence may be granted for up to 30 days and is an unpaid time off option. This leave can only be used when there is no available Vacation or Sick Time. Approval for a Personal Leave of Absence is based on business needs and requires prior approval from management. Please contact People Operations for more details and to begin the approval process if you need to request this time off.*

Requests for Regular PTO, Flex PTO, floating holidays, and wellness holidays must be submitted via the Time Off app in Rippling for manager approval. Detailed instructions are available on the right for submitting your requests.
Please note that you cannot double dip PTO banks (e.g., taking 5 hours of PTO while working 4 hours). If that happens, HR will ask you to adjust your request by removing one hour from your PTO bank.*
Employees who are assigned a leave policy can easily request time off through the Time Off app in Rippling, available on both the web browser and the Rippling mobile app.
